Set of 4 tea beakers
Four tea beakers (although in our house these are frequently stolen to serve coffee, berries, icecream, hot chocolate, peanuts....) in contrasting glazes. They stack pleasingly, but have small variations in size. Glossy moss, burnt copper Lichen, Teesdale peat and Matte Copper - two shiny, two matte - everyone has their favourite and each set has a unique selection. Handle-less, and huggable, these are yunomi style beakers. There is a Japanese saying, 'if it's too hot to hold the teacup, the tea is too hot to drink' so these are the perfect way to slow down and enjoy that cup, whatever you've put in it.
Measurements and Care
Cups measure 6.5cm high and 10cm diameter (approx).
The pieces you will receive will be similar to the pieces in the photos. Every piece is hand thrown on the wheel by me. I then turn it, to refine the shape, then fire it to 1000 degrees. After this, the piece is glazed and refired to 1240 degrees. This process means that whilst some may be similar and complement each other in a set, each one is unique, and likely to have its own quirks and variations. Please do ask before ordering if you have any questions at all.
Food safe but not recommended for prolongued exposure to acidic foods or for dishwasher.

Once your order is placed, your pot will be carefully wrapped, packaged and boxed and sent via Royal Mail Tracked within 3-5 days. Shipping costs are added at checkout and are currently £5 per item.
